People have struggled to fit watermelons into their fridges for years.
A Japanese farmer came up with a cube-shaped watermelon which can be packed, stored and transported easily. There is no weird science or genetic modification involved in the process.
Wooden boxes with clear sides are placed around the growing fruit which naturally swells to fill the surrounding shape.
